My Rain I can hear the rain, its synchronized with the beating of my heart. Each drop that soaks the earth soaks my soul and cleanses my fear I count the seconds between the thunder and the lighting to reassure myself the storm is near. It pours down upon me It covers me Erases every moment for that I have ever mourned With each drop Subtly I am reborn There are only three beings worth of respect; the priest, the solider and the poet; To know, To Kill and to create. |
