The angels look down upon the humans And watch as they suffer One man in particular is suffering From the indecisions of life His presant girlfriend Who is now his ex Gave him a reason to move on Now he waits on an important telephone call from the girl he has now chosen to be the one To marry him The angels looked into his ex's heart And could tell it was hard for her to part With a man she had loved for 2 years One angel says to the other, "How are we gonna fix this tangled mess And not get her ex-boyfriend ticked?" Then God looked down on the situation And he said, "Make them friends. And see if that makes everyone happy." But the angels replied back, "it looks like it is off to an icy start. Will they ever trust each other again Only if they are friends?" God looked at his angels and replied, "That is up to them. I cannot decide for them. They will either make it work Or they will in the end give up on it." The angels looked down at them again and said to God, "We will pray that they work their differences out. She needs to work on that temper And he needs to work on undersatanding how people Feel without blowing up at them and taking the easy way out." Then God looked down at the humans in question and said, "Give it time and everything will work out. Even if it takes months or even years Something is bound to work out." Then the angels with God looked down at them And they said, "God they were perfect for 2 years What ruined it all?" Then God answered, "They just had to take a break from it all. They needed to know if they were perfect for each other or not. And they both took a fall." The angels started to weep with dispear And God said to them, "One day everything will be back to normal They may just be friends But at least both of them will be happy." But one of the angels said, "I was the one who brought them together I thought they would work But I guess I was wrong And now that girl has a broken heart." God put his hand on the angels shoulder and said, "you tried your best But not all things work out As you have planned Take this to with a grain of salt And maybe in the future you will see it wasn't your fault." They watched as boy and girl walked away One happy he got his way The other still blue to this day The angels still watch over them both But God told them, "Don't get in the way of what the future might bring." And then he winked at the angels And walked away |

Julie, this is incredibly amazing. I am amazed how you can write so well about your experiences with Liam, and that you are taking your troubles up with God. It takes a strong person to write this poem. and a stronger one with courage to post it as you have. You are strong bold faithful and courageous. May things go well for you. ![]() Love, |
