Wondering

I’ve wondered neath a shadows fall
And felt the gray of memo’s call
Whispering sad melody
An ancient song of threnody

It passes like a feathers touch
The faintness of an odors clutch
It taps upon your whimsies door
And settles like the mist on moor.

I could not shake the feel of wilt
The permeate of peels of guilt
The muster of a faint despair
That tugged my heart in taints declare.

It was an eerie tease of dwell
A web that held me in its spell
And when the sun lift shadows flow
It was the moment it let go

So when a shadow swells your fear
Seek the sun, to give you cheer.

Emerson is smiling...
quote:
The south-wind brings
Life, sunshine, and desire,
And on every mount and meadow
Breathes aromatic fire,
But over the dead he has no power,
The lost, the lost he cannot restore,
And, looking over the hills, I mourn
The darling who shall not return.

Threnody, by Ralph Waldo Emerson

Thank you, Sy...

You wonder, but through the sad mist you carry your hope and you are not disappointed.
The sun is always there ...
Beautiful and touching.
