October wind is blowing Scattering leaves upon the ground. On this quiet day Their rustling is the only sound. Night-chilled air is warming A new day has just begun And the morning sky is lighting With the rising of the sun. Crystal tears are flowing down Like dewdrops of the morn But hardly they provide relief From sadness, newly borne. Crying out, a heavy heart And torn and broken soul Are realizing now that they No longer can be whole. Tear-filled eyes gaze 'cross the land And watch the sun arise. Today, a soul went home to God And dwells within the skies. No longer on this mortal earth He looks down from above To watch over his family And guide them with his love. Love always, Elizabeth 10-31-00 Dreams last for so long, even after you're gone... |

Hi skyshine, this reads like a prayer, and ever so beautifully. If the Spring is a time for renewal, so the Fall is a time of change and remembering. Bless your heart~ [This message has been edited by BluesSerenade (10-31-2003 10:07 PM).] |
