Engulfed in shadows, no light at the end, found time to send a sympathy card… His children at her skirt, no dinner started, found time to give a hug… Traffic is rushed, with bumper-to-bumper cars, found time to smile a thumbs up…. He stressed through the worst days of his life, found time to say “you did really well….” She found a lump in her breast, found time to give a prayer…. Her mate of decades passed, found time to send flowers in memory She’s just waiting to pass on, thinking she’s forgotten, found time to listen to the stories He listens to the whispers in the shadows found time to whisper back found time, precious and yielding, enlightening pasts, restoring common sense, listening within, finding…me. |

I think it sometimes is that the time is always there...we just don't decide to use it as well as we should... But, hey... guess what? I found time to sit down and say hey, whatcha doin? Seriously, I enjoyed this KJ, reminds me a little of my write yesterday about my timepiece that I wish would slow down and let me smell a whole bunch more roses than I am presently... |
