The sky permits a glance inside
then shuts its peephole
diverting me with circus clowns.

Born of springtime's rainsoaked lawns,
clouds form skeins of creampuffed wool
to knit the shawls on trees below.

Lovestruck on illusion's wine,
on days like these when i am torn,
I'd rather insulate my soul
than bear the sting of blantant cold..

I love the title of this- 'Illusion's Wine'-and then the wonderful images you crowded into such a small poem.  Well done.
