it came upon me
that vomitus feeling
you know which I mean
the kind that makes your heart beat
fast
and palms sweat and you just cant stop
looking
behind your shoulder
even though no one is there
there is
look again
see?
nobody home
but still . . .
the fingers creep like bones
skeletal marrow red blood
lips I saw her teeth they
were sharp and pointed through lips
gnarled like rigormortis
and I bellowed aloud,
"Leave Us Be!", only to feel
a fool
but still . .
you never do know
times like these
especially when I still felt
those bones
cemetary drones
like carrion creeping I
chewed her up and spew forth
this

I just finished an essay at school on 'fear'.. this reminded me of it. Certainly fitting to the day.. and yes, definitely a good one to have spit out

Reminds me of those re-occurring nightmares,
where I'm running from my fear and getting no where fast!

Very spooky stuff, you had me here Tweets.

That's why I only sleep in the graveyard when I'm drunk.

This piece rocks with apprehension and fear of the unknown.

Thanks,
