Critters of The Night

Over here in Hawaii we have these big monster bugs
that are kind of a cross between a scorpion a
lobster and an aphrodite.
They're pretty good size critters and supposedly
they only come out at night because nobody has
ever seen one in the day light.
They like to hide in cabinets and under the couch
or under the bed and sometimes they hide in shoes.
No matter how hard you look you will never see
them, but believe me they are waiting for you.
When I make my bed I wear tennis shoes and move
around my bed nice and slow just incase one of
those critters wants to bite off my toes.
They say that quick movements will almost
nine times out of ten guarantee a bite.
I think about that as I fall asleep each night.
There's one good thing, they sleep at night too.
And once they go to sleep they won't bother you.
But should you be awakened in the middle of the
night by a loud screech that sounds like an
aphrodite, beware and get out of there.
All it takes is one little bite from the
critters of the night and you'll never
live to see another Halloween night.

Thank you Greeneyes, LeeJ and Mary...
this was only a Halloween joke...we don't really have any critters such as these...or do we?   We do have some monster centipedes that kind of scare me...James
