you place
yourself at
fingers edge
close enough
to touch
but too distant
to hold
and I am
confused in
the push
and pull

Always at fingers edge and to far to touch. 14 years of history with what I thought was my soul mate and now he is across country (California) by his own choice. He keeps me hanging on in case things don't work out. I am only an option. I'm done. You be done too!
