I like the way you show personalities without ever saying anything directly about them. After five lines, I feel I know something about the guy's nature (and yours!) that might take a long time to learn, face to face.

This reminds me of one of my sons when he was three and we went out into the desert at night to look at the stars...at first he was afraid and then amazed.
