Fondled in the chilly fingers tampered plunging Fahrenheit

Blushed upon the sleek decorum, arbor leaves in season bright

Dalliance of sunshine sparkles in a newly found forte

Even as the grays turn blue and summer slyly fades away

Paid crisp the skins perpetual, in autumns grinned exception

Matured in peaceful rhetoric, with ease fate’s clear direction

Yet there is more to color sure, than simply finding time

The dance in candid discontent adventures full in prime

In succulent seclusion felt of autumns scenic spy

The outward shows as inward glows remunerations high

As all the land consents to be ablaze in formal don

While there believes the next and sees anew day to count on

the autumn winds herald in more than a change
of leaf colour, don't they Kathleen? (alas a blanket of snow around the corner!)

Kathleen~
The internal rhyme scheme made this an even more delightful read~

You are so very talented and I'm glad you're a poetess~
