Close your eyes,
listen to the sounds
of the night.

Feel my hand,
the warmth as my fingers
gently entwine with your own.

Close your eyes for
you're not alone
as I am with you always.

This poem is an oldie of mine from a couple years ago.

It is always a comforting feeling when one is alone to face whatever, to know that there is always a waiting hand to hold.
