This is a series of four.

Hidden

Hidden in an isolated corner of a dense, uncultivated forest
is a little alcove.
In the alcove hidden by natures protective armor-
Lies a sleeping child.
This innocent from the small town called Idols-
Hides from the cruel master
of this tiny island.
He carries a heavy stick with a ball and chain-
A cruel dictator is he
Showing no mercy to the
small and innocent
of this lost island of darkness.
This child hidden-
Dreams of peace and love of humanity.
In time this child will grow into being
the guiding light of this tiny island.
Giving love and hope freely-
But for now the season is for sleep in the
hidden alcove, this hidden sanctuary,
protected by natures protective armor
of truth and the
breastplate of righteousness.
May the undeserved kindness of our Lord
be with this child of innocence.
