 The Kiss Of Dark… T’was but a dream, this I know but be it then, thus be it so he came to me in dark of night and with a kiss, held me tight 'neath his fevered hand was wrought a devil's touch, as he sought the nape of neck as hid by cowl then in the dark, screeched the owl O, words so soft of lithe promise dark eyes that then united us taste of love 'twas all he wanted but his kiss has left me haunted O, my Count, do not leave thy side 'though 'tis in dream you do abide and in the daylight you shall hide but in the darkness, we shall fly… |
