Many sounds of silence keep me where I am today.. For what is worth writing? What will you ever do that will be remembered? Does that even matter, I wonder? What purpose will your name in a few paragraphs in a history book serve to you when you rest well beyond the gates of death? Think about it.. Still tryin' to find out just what I'm worth.. I'm probably not worth much, I'm sure, Your greatness isn't measured by the quality of your verse.. Indeed, the best poetry has no words. I dont want to be a legend. Most heroes were fools. Generals on the battlefield. Two morons in a duel. building toppling hijackers, and rich and wealthy robber barons, native people- killing high seas pioneers we do remember, in earnest. Still tryin' to find out just what I'm worth.. I'm probably not worth much, I'm sure, I fear we are equal, when viewed from within... Indeed, the best poetry has no words. So what will I do worthwhile here, before I rot and die? All the pleasure I yearn for, all the love that I deny, Could surely be found in the mere sparkle that illuminates from your eyes. All of my answers can be found there.. Not from horrible poetry. Or from money in the bank, or how big my paychecks are.. Not from how well I pretend for you. Still tryin' to find out just what I'm worth.. I'm probably not worth much, I'm sure, But I'm worth as much as anybody else is.. Indeed, the best poetry has no words. ~..Throughout life, people come and go. Some people come back..~ |

EagleScorpion And the best painting has no paint. LOL Its been done. The last I heard the body is worth about .98 cents but that was long ago. It's probably worth 1.98 today. Whatever your worth enjoy it now. Good write |
