You may go relationship to relationship And not find the right one For years to come But one day love comes into your life With one introduction from a man The one that has been in your dreams The one that you have said prayers for You have your fights You have your nights of indecision You have days were you just Want to kill him But you work through it eventually Love never dies Even if it doesn't last For all eternity And you have to move on To a new man You will always have the memory Of the first man You ever truly loved Cold hands means a warm heart |

You know, I've tried for years to decide if the first woman (actually a 5-year old girl that kissed me beneath the Ligustrum bushes many years ago)was the most important to me, or which one was (seeings I haven't forgotten ANY of them), and I've finally decided, more or less, they are all equally important to who I am as a man/human being because they have all given insight on how to be a better person (not that it's worked!!), and I love them all just as much now as I did then - in memory of course, honey, if you're reading this.... Now where was this going.... Loved the piece my friend, jwesley (hmmm...now you're in my memory too...see how it works???) |

It can be applied both ways, as I've proven. Seems a memory just can't be erased if it was to do with someone you care about.  What is life without poetry and adventure? |
