Life for me has been so busy
I don't have time like I once had
But I often stop and think about you
For I still miss you so much Dad

My poetry gives me strength
As I go about my day
There are friends I can rely on
They keep my sadness at bay

I often walk along the beach
Where I stop and think of you
I search the sapphire sky
Hoping you might come into view

As I sit amongst my thoughts
I reach inside my memories
I often see you in the stars
And feel your warmth in the breeze

It's been four years since I lost you
But your image remains so clear
Through my words I try to reach you
They help to bring you near

You're still the wind beneath my wings
Your guiding light shows me the way
You fly high up with the angels
And in my heart you'll always stay
