Moved from a shack to a barn

As I step out
of the climate controlled confines
of this conveyance
and into a strange geography

I am given to wonder
just what is at work here
to compel one as complacent as I
to test new winds

Because you knew there was somethig special there. How long did it take you to venture out onto new territory? Too long! I'm so very proud and happy for you, my wonderful brother Ed.

The cold October
wind and rain
fell upon my face
walking towards my fate
I thought to myself,
"Susie, what is it exactly
that you are doing?"

I never questioned that again
after I saw his eyes
melt within mine

We tested the winds together
and they blew upon us
cool summer breeze . . .

*smiling at you*
and all of you guys
so so sweet
My God . . . so blessed
