The leaf

              Fluttered

                          Shuddered

                                         Withered

                                                             Wept.

The poet penned passion upon page’s leaf, then

              Fluttered,

                          Shuddered

                                         Withered

                                                             Wept.

October gave up her leaves.

The poet closed her book, and vanished.

WOW!! Now here Karilea..is another example of the ones you pen
which make my breath catch in my throat.

(big hugggssssssss) Oh Karilea, this is so very heartfelt and melancholy, sweet friend, it's hard to imagine this fleeting moment and surely I only hope so much was left behind to read, with tears of hope speckling the pages!
