Standing barefoot in golden glaze Dripping summer sentiments Basking ermine of watery glass Reflecting sweet odors of warmth and friendship Hand carved flues, fireside evening songs Woven responsive light & air, like seraphs resilient over head Flipping through things otherwise unnoticed Where fire burns slow, low, never going out Sipping tea where sea enters this arched zenith Telling stories, always the same, yet always different Mighty height & influence streams this delicacy Swiftly leaning with a brethering hand Ripeā¦.flushed, permanent shawl of knowledge Dazzling geris, purples, and blue cerulean Like a grand piano reciting Sunday morning Simple but beautiful this leeward consignment Filling the world to its peaks and mountains Pure secret resources, like a slow leaking tributary For the first time, no longer feeling the tug of world Or the indulgence of shyness Here, smooth movements through dreams make me slave There is no clamor or concession of haze |
