There is truth in a maxim, In an adage and a mot, Veracity in dictums, And in proverbs that we know. Platitudes and cliches, Trite epigrams, and saws, Mottoes and the gospels, Precepts and canon laws.   (big hugggssssssss) Oh Linda, I agree ever so much and it saddens me to see too many trusting only other man's credences and "evidence" they so call it when Truth can only be known through His Word! My grandma would always rock me in her lap when I was a boy and sing these songs of God to me I still remember fairly well and that is how I just know He is the Truth, because I just look at how well she lives and how healthy she is and how the light always seeps into her kitchen, that immaculate light! (sigh) God Bless You, sweet friend, you shine with a halo of wisdom, we all love you so much, ooohhhhhhh...and thank you for the early birhday card, yay, we all love you so much!
