Autumn's been here many times for me
Leaves upon the ground from tree to tree
The morning dew upon the leaves
stirs my mind with memories

Many times has autumn come and gone
My days are deary risings of the sun
"Autumn, why do you come so often?"
Falling leaves remind me of my beloved

My beloved , when you walk upon the ground
Step upon the fallen leaves for me
listen to the rustling , crackling sound
They also break and hurt beneath your feet

This afternoon , as I sit in the sun
I realize time has swiftly run
As drifting clouds change in the sky
The prime of life has passed us by

Behind the hills I see the setting sun
The forest quiet when the day is done
In lonely solitude a stream flows by
Where deer had come in days gone by

I hope the deer return to play
When autumn comes another day
I hope to hear birds happy trills
And moonlight covering yonder hills

Every autumn in years gone by
We were inseparable you and I
We thought our happiness would never end
But now apart , I miss you so , my beloved

Autumn 's been here many times for me
Leaves upon the ground from tree to tree
But when you walk upon the leaves again
Remember me , once more , my beloved
