Each tick,
a tremored hand anoints the page with words by rote.
Each tock,
brings more in the same vein, awaiting the next note,
which ticks,
repeating clockwork machinations of a kind,
that tocks,
in constant cadence, bringing Metro-Gnomes to mind,
who tick
me off for making such a mockery of me,
who walks the walk and talks the talk as if his sanity,
depends on writing tick tock poems
I tick tock just don't see,
what tick has got to do with it for the tocking life of me!
It ticking gets ridiculous
this tockings got to stop
'bout one more tick out of you Bub
I'll call the tocking cops!
You Metro-Gnomes are bad news and I've had it up to here,
so quit your ticking tocking in my ticking tocking ears!!!

Great Grinnin Goblins! The Metro-nome's on the loose! What a blast! Thanks for your interpretation--feel free any time! These are much better than mine and much more fun. I like the way you took the idea and ran with it! What a blast!
