A dead soldier speaks to his child Trace my name upon the stone, As you play beside my grave. The father you have never known, Who people say was very brave. Older now you need to know, Searching for a simple truth. You ask again,"Why did you go?" "Why did you sacrifice your youth?" If you should come to know, If this truth is known to thee. With pity to my grave side go, Dear child:Tell me,tell me! arthur oct 03 |

Greetings, Arthur! These are the questions left behind: "Why did you go?" "Why did you sacrifice your youth?" The answers don't come easy if at all. When you have time, please drop by to read, 'Ripply isle cry'. Cordially, Castlehigh of Éire |
