**(My hawaiian might be off, so please forgive moi. :P) oceanic rhythms rock me into an endless dream this Polynesian world alive in bleeding colors of lavished green and balmy pleasure my malama speaking through me, pule unto Papahanaumoku keep safe our grove of passion flow'r lay me down in the burning sand you make me malihini no more too familiar high from scents of flowery skin shades darker than the palpable Hawaiian moon thick and rich lost in a song of obsidian hair clutched in your finely callused hands salty sweet lips whisper 'olelo into my eager ears trailing promises with tongue down a quivering neck 'ono flawlessly melded flavors of your touch linger we will sleep tonight among nalu foam I, 'olapa you, ho'opa'a watch me strung with leis body curving in a sunset dance there are no drums, though I move on makai turf offering mahalo to our gods tonight, I am goddess of the 'aina on which I lay my head as moonlight paints the shore with darkness' alelo someone beckons and we follow the call of a thousand ancient voices to heaven oh sleep, fair lovers, here **from http://www.aloha-hawaii.com/hawaii_magazine/hawaiian/index.shtml For saints have hands that pilgrims' hands do touch, And palm to palm is holy palmers' kiss.--"Romeo and Juliet" [This message has been edited by IndigoEve (09-23-2003 05:42 PM).] |
