Ghoulish mares haunt dead of night,
Cackling witches stirring fright.
Goblins hobblin' among old graves,
Warm, fresh blood a vampire craves.
Zombies roaming all about,
Children cry and scream and shout.
Treats and candies scattered 'round,
As ghoulies rise from musty ground.
Cold winds blow dead fallen leaves,
The rustling makes one ill at ease.
In shadows deep, lurk evil minions,
From depths below in dark dominions.
Spectral beings spewing curses,
Phantoms driving by in hearses.
High-pitched screams do pierce the ears,
Terror fills shocked eyes with tears.
Howling comes from catacombs,
Sucking marrow from one's bones.
Fear replaces mind and reason,
Every dark, unhallowed season.
