Saluting with misty eyes

0 posted 2003-10-22 12:06 PM

He's watching her walk away
He knew it wouldn't last
Yet he held out the hope
That she would make life
Something special again
To be prized
Cherished
He stood there hoping
Yet in a single phrase
Uttered in her moment of joy
He watched her leave
And turned
Slowly
Wandered off alone
To face the rest of his years

Please don't read anything into this...
It actually is just what came out and means nothing in my life.

We are all equal but we’re individually different
and able to reach the impossible if we try.

hard not to read into that...very specific and very real, thanks for the experience

i think that it's brainless to assume that making changes to your window's view will gain a new perspective.

Sometimes
poems write themselves
I know
I've watched it happen.

Thank you, Ringo.

Ah..this is a sad one indeed...
glad it was just a random thought
and not fact.

(big hugggssssss) Oh Bradly, I am happy that this isn't relating to your life, as I am currently living with this curse, and since New Years Day this year has been difficult for me, with much miscommunication and severity! (sigh) I know this feeling, sweet friend, God Bless You, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Bradly, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
Noah Eaton

Ringo~
Great penning ... when the thoughts flow, grab 'em and slap 'em to the page~

There is a tender beauty in this~

Mytuesdaywishes- Thank You.

Sunshine- It is a strange phenomenon, isn't it??? Thanks for reading it.

Shadows- Actually, not having sad thoughts today at all. Or even yesterday. I have had my share, and have decided it's time to give someone else a turn.  lol

Nancy- Thank you much.

Noah- I do understand the challenges you are facing. You have my sincerest wishes for a speedy recovery to your ailing heart.

Marge- Thanks again.
