Softly~
   so softly
putting into words
what is felt      in the heart

baring a soul
         totally vulnerable
to the feelings
unleashed in pen....

A woman
          knows many hungers
one of the soul
         of the child
                        of a man
of a light, which she continues to
strive for,
a warmth, for which she is always
in search of,
a desire, beating to death
within.

All that is held inside
flowing thoughts,
  once upon a time
            only residing in mind
pouring out
in sweet release....

feeding from the knowledge,
         the flooding of soul
that comes from the journey
     of there,
to this moment held
so tenderly....

A woman
            will be many things

but mostly,
            misunderstood.

In her searches
          she will seek        understanding
and she will find,
              herself.

Thank you all so very much.  Writing with Karilea is a wonderful treat for anyone who has that pleasure.  When you toss her a written line she knows just where to take it to make it pure bliss....

Kari, lady... and thanks so much for this very special duet.  Hugs.

OH you two flow so well together.
Love that, and this too...

It's a woman thing all right, and I am so glad to be on the same page with both of you.

Donna, coming to know you has been a pleasure over these last few years.  Dueting with you, is like Christmas in July.  When poets share their words, they can only expand their universe.  Thank you.

And thanks to all who are kind enough to read, and leave a comment.  Your thoughts and impressions are deeply important to any poet.

(smiles) I believe the grace of a woman is truly extraordinary and magical and though it saddens me to see many miss how special a woman is, their beauty is meant to be misunderstood! (big group angel hug) Yay, I love this, sweet friends, you are phenominal women, naturally, phenominal women, that's both of you, God Bless You Both, we all love you so much! You have such beautiful hearts, sweet Donna and Karilea, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,

Misunderstood?  This is just the beginning,
and only through time and mutual giving,
will she ever be understood....if only
he will listen...

Excellent write ladies,  seems you both did
extremely well here...

I am astounded by your work!  This one is a keeper, no doubt about it!  Now here it is!  I wish I wrote this, but alas, I am not at this level...I, however, am capable of the feelings and emotions behind these words, and that, I assure you both was captured in this piece.

Hugs to you both for this.

I need to reply to all of you!  And I'm short on time.  Suffice to say, I will get notes off to you all individually.  Thank you for enjoying this duet with us!

The moth is late as always, far too short on poetry time these days...but I wanted to say how lovely and gracefully your words laced together. Well done ladies!
