As time goes by I hope this never ends,
You’ve helped me in so many ways,

These days with you are timeless,
Now I am free,
Free to be yours,
It’s my wish that you feel the same,
If not it would put me to shame,

These feelings are new to me,
But they are very real,
No need for you to steal my heart,
Because you already have it in the palm of your hand,
Be gentle with it,
Please don’t rip it slowly strand by strand,

I’m giving my heart to you,
For all it’s worth,
I can now count the ways time has helped me heal,
And come to you,
To be with you.
