I remember this silence of the phone And your side of the bed Grown too cold To lay by. I remember this Box of memories Gizmos and gadgets I'd add every day Like a girl first in love And I remember The last time it seemed empty Like this. I remember these pictures Always a camera at hand For when you'd unknowningly strike A graceful pose. Why is it you seem everywhere When you're gone? Why did I let you Into my life So much To the point I can't delete you? And I remember You coming back... Just like this... And planting on my lips A kiss I'll not forget ("One more thing You'll have to erase later...") The back of my mind Reminds But instead My lips murmer "Oh yeah... That's why." |

Why is it you seem everywhere When you're gone? they do have that tendency no? ..and then one day you find..ten years have got behind you..no one told you when to run..you missed the starting gun.. |
