where the wild flowers grow

So mine is the heart that's unbeatable.
The breath that cannot be breathed,
eyes that may never blink.

I refuse to look straight down and miss the sky.

There is not one god hiding in my misty waters,
nor demons infested within.
Struggle the power of this barren solitude,
I will not capture my own sin.

So crucify me with your guilt, you slave,
you shackled and tortured waste.
Think not of my purity in hell,
this promise I've misplaced..

So I too, am a liar..
I've beckoned the breath of the devil,
the warm wind, like an imagined summer.

Mine is the soul that is unforgiven,
I hold the fire to my breast..
For the ocean breathes nothing but lies to me,
promising I'll be blessed.

to be blessed, I've learned, is something hidden.
Its the moment in time when you aren't frowning...
and the call you don't expect.
the smile you give... to somebody else.

But this... its just sad

Always, Alyssa

- And so it was that time stood still -
     (blink, breathe, stand, fight)

So many great lines...but those above are my favorite...

and maybe you should keep it,

(big hugggssssssss) I hate to see any liar being forgiven in full, and it just isn't right for these kind of consequences to happen! (sad sigh) My heart goes out to you as you surely are the more blessed one, God Bless You, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Meghan, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Please try and get in here more often meg!

You truly do stun me with your beautifully woven words, and the darkness behind them, with an innocence still there behind it all.

I'll shut up.

I guess that depends on which way the wind blows.

Always a pleasure to read you Kaoru.
