Something so small,
you can not see it
but comprehend it,
so minuscule
you can imagine it,
far reaches of the mind
so distant magnifying life,
impossible to fathom
becoming crystal clear
germinating the improbable,
bringing words to paper
where they disappear forever.

I assume this poem is "something" about writing a poem. It has "atomic" structure, though if looked at more closely, there is "something" even smaller here, the quarks show through, but you must look close.

I think you are wrong,

"germinating the improbable,
bringing words to paper
where they disappear forever."

simply writing the words down, will make them last forever.
