Dark pitch black light bleached white checkerboard square shades in between steaming hot red chilled frozen blues topical paradises hating moments lost loving feelings found emotions rejuvenated, all the colors tearing you apart till all time ends. Hello, D. Lester, I gotta tell ya I liked your poem. The more I read it, the more I see in it. I really like your CONTRASTS! "Dark pitch black Light Bleached white" (This reminds me that black is the absence of color and white is the presence of all colors. Maybe that's a little how we feel sometimes, absent of liveliness or full of life's colors.) Oh, I really liked the part about the checkboard squares--kind of like the keys on a piano (have to have both to play a song/game!) "steaming hot red chilled frozen blues" That picture reads loud and clear! Enjoyed your write! Sadelite |
