Dotted-Swiss Adorn
~*Marge Tindal*~

Stenciled sun in silhouette
upon the bedroom wall
Intricately woven rays
so gently in morning fall~

They mesmerize my yawn
from underneath a lace valance
As they come to play my wall
in dotted-Swiss prance~

Oh what a glorious ballet
emblazoned across my morn
As fluttering curtains wave happily
in dotted-Swiss adorn~

~Fantastic painting by June Somerford Williamson

Dearest Twinsie Friendsie

This deserves a 'personal' Thank You...but for the time being a posted reply will have to do...

I truly *Love* the way you've made my painted thoughts dance across the page in Dotted-Swiss Adorn with your gift of poetic pen. Only we know what persistence it took to finally achieve our goal...but it was definitely worth the efforts.

Again...Thank You from the bottom of my heart for being the other half of 'Us' who always adds that final touch to make my paint brush truly come to life...

Marge and June, these are the perfect compliment for each other.

A precious and dainty picture and words that just seem to dance.

You are both so talented.
Hugs to you both, Marti

You two are quite a pair
With hearts that always share
The love of friendship as it should
I'll hug you both, if only I could

Hi Marge, Hi June, my friends abroad
Hold on to that one dearest thought
That true friendship is a treasure
Meeting you two...was my real pleasure

Sending Dutch knuffels to both of you.

Titia

Marge...Once again, you have taken a simple thing like a dotted-swiss curtain and made it into the most beautiful and image-rich poem. Wonderful poem, Marge!!! ***Ivy Rose

in brush of pen
the way back when
comes to life in swiss adorn
and pastel paint
can make a saint
of the sunshine from the morn

between you two
this coloured hue
lifts me from the world forlorn
and through this piece
comes love's release
I know why you have friendship sworn.

We thank one and all~
And Kethry ... we BOTH love your sweet verse~

In the past ... June would show me a painting and I'd 'frame' it with my words.
On THIS ONE ... she and I were emailing back and forth when she gave me the inspire for the poem ... then I wrote and told her to PAINT IT !!!
Naturally, she did the GORGEOUS painting to complete the Poemature JUST RIGHT~

*Huglets* to you all ... and mostest of all, my Friendsie-Twinsie ... without you ... I'd only be half of US ... and that would never do~
LOVE YOU~
