Cranberries, stuffing,
Pumpkin pie,
Turkey, trimmings,
Piled real high.

Mashed potatoes,
Gravy too,
Green beans almondine,
And turnip stew.

Fresh from the oven,
Warm dinner rolls,
Drip in butter ~
Food for souls.

White meat, dark meat,
Drumstick, wing,
I like to sample
Everything!

Olives, pickles ~
Tart and sweet,
Spiced ringed apples
Are good to eat!

Plump black olives,
And pickles galore,
Devilled eggs
And so much more!

Family gathering,
To rejoice and pray,
Sharing love on
Thanksgiving Day!

Thank-you dear friend. I've been so long in the USA I'd forgotten that Monday is Thanksgiving in Canada. I really needed to see a little of home. Now it is a good day!

I'd really love it if you could fly on angel wing from Colorado to Ontario on Sunday! You could stay overnight and we could laugh and sing and share stories until the rising of the sun! --and we could snack on all the goodies all night long! Sounds like fun, doesn't it!
