So often words, are cheap and thin more often eyes see deep within and sometimes we know, we won't win against a truth that's proved by sin So many words, are twisted things the truth we gave to silly kings who sought the truth that power brings and never heard songs beauty sings So I will sing both true and loud of things I meant and love I vowed and never cover with truths shroud the things I said, with my head bowed |
