I've got a sliver
in my toe,
how it got there,
I do not know.

I like to play,
with no shoes on,
in fields, in sand,
or fresh-mown lawn.

Down garden paths
I like to roam,
among the flowers,
near my home.

I skip-dee-doo
along the shore,
among the rocks
and shells galore.

it gives happiness where most poetry gives grief. you write about joy and i feel it when i read the poem. happiness is so wondeful. it comes so rarely to some. you go!!

(smiles) Oh Linda, this is gorgeous, sweet friend, I love walking barefoot too and whenever I have to wear shoes, I always wear sandals because I love my toes all feeling free and feeling the air, yay!
