When Thoughts Toss And Turn Why is it ,I often wonder When I lay down in bed That so many thoughts Swirl through my head The grey matter chaos Becomes a nightmare All the questions begin Why, when and where An insomniac dilemma Arrives late in the night Often remaining active Until first morning light It was dormant by day Then decides to return By capturing my mind Thoughts toss and turn Writing down thoughts I was not wasting time Insomnia can be used Spent creating a rhyme Hope©2003 |
