Why are men moved To serve opened petals? (As tokens) After love has been put In a compromised position? Fantastic, As they are How can those stemmed-bracts ease, A woman's tear-burned lenses? * To find the answer, We must go back.... Poor Adam did not understand, Because he was the first man; Full wonder of his Eve. * (The first Garden, First argument Adam walked away; Feeling sorry was new to him) * Along his path Grew perfumed flowers, Drifting up their sweet. Beauties, were they all (and God-sent,clear) That mocked His lovely woman's face. And picking them by hand He learned, could heal When mortal man, Missed wide the lovers mark. * He found that buds on stems (Displayed as gifts) Could change, From frown (His mates) to smile But only if, (warned God) His sorrow was sincere. |

Sincerity will win. We can sense when something is not sincere. You are so right. This was full of deep thought. Loved it! SharaRose @-->-- Of sound, and speech let all lift the hearer! |

ice In the flowershop business, I have seen many a man get out of the doghouse with a flower and sincerity. Enjoyed your poem! |

I got a real kick out of your poem and whenever I saw a man coming with flowers, it always intimidated me for some reason. Enjoyed this. |
