Tears released into the world Exposed to the air Taking first breath of freedom Rolling down cheeks Falling to their deaths Lifes short-lived Still serve the propose They were created for Knelt in the dirt My blood covered hands Splashed also with tears Produced by a sadness A body lay close Motionless A life gone and past The after remains still shown The soul inside Taken away Flowed to heavens gate To be returned another day Lee Hepworth |

Wow, I really enjoyed this. I can't believe I'm the first person to read this. |

"Falling to their deaths Lifes short-lived Still serve the propose They were created for" ~ Yes, as painful as it can be for those of us left behind, I do believe that each life serves a purpose--even those that are short-lived. A touching piece of writing. EA |
