Well, the lights are out again. I guess it has been quite a while. I have power, that's a quirk of switches, but it lets me smile at the fools, the talking heads on my TV who have spent hours being sure the details are clear, on how mayhem and chaos could be wrought by any terror group who happens to be listening to them talk. © 2003 by icebox |

OK, WHO TOOK THE TAPE OFF KAREN!???? Honey, I've NEVER lost my power. Yeah sure, sometimes the local electricity goes out, but that's completely different.  |

the_loner_23 ~ sorry, you slipped in here while I was writing a reply to the dark witch. Where I am happened to be right on the edge of where the cascade was stopped. We had a brown-out for about 10 seconds while the grid shuddered and shifted, but then it came back just fine. I was on the phone at the time though with someone in Manhattan and they were going down while we talked. It is cooling down here now so things may stay calm through the night. Thank you for your concern. |

I have always thought there just isn't enough duck tape... Icy~I have the same thoughts sometimes whilst watching the tube~Idiots give all the little freaky deks out there ideas!! *Digging through papers* I know I wrote a little something once about what I thought about the media... Susan |

Yea...homeland security?...Should start with some kind of "need to know" policy regarding the media....I'm sure the terrorists have already pondered most of what we hear...but why reinforce their ideas?....good write ya old hippie....from an old hippie... |

Not only do you write some of the best poetry but the best replies grins..you can just picture a terrorist slapping himself on the head saying..why didn't i think of that? |
