Straining with hopeful eyes Listening with open ears Seeking trails of disrupted leaves Amid winter elements - one can exist bitterly Abandoned amongst untrustworthy trees Bard of the park Possessor of tattered robes and dreams Strong - the stench of wine Weak - the sense to be Even in hopeless places Words of genius seem to stream How I seek my kindred father Still, too many sighs plaguing me No sign of my Bard He's off to another way home |

I knew a poet like this, Moni. He had a home for a time, and access to a computer. He said that folks like him were never meant to meet people like me. His words were pure, untainted by the everyday world. Thanks for reminding me of him with this lovely write! Core |
