A Need It begs of me come take the wheat shafted, thrashed, milled then grind it well, again, as the raft of hope begins where I will find myself once more, and it, it begs of me come the process is almost lost, it is, to know of the need to knead to beg for a day and swiftly, allay the pressures of weight and greed but come the morn, the cool clean morn, the time where the begin, begins I smell you, now…. I need you…. slow the process of the mind in quickening of yeast, and kind and beget of me the touch you’ve yearned while I smile in poet’s churn for you are this, leif the life of which we beg to hold warm, crusty, begging taste I shall sop with you juices of strife you, you…. I beg you, stay… not only in my memory not only beneath my hands of need I beg of you, stay… stay and rise with me come to your fruition, free, stay in braid or of higher sky raise my hopes let spirits sigh… I pound and knead the currents air knowing spirits reside, somewhere discerning then for now, and when I will hold you close, again, again…. mein lief, just know, I know, the need of knead….. ~*~ leif = “dearly beloved” |
