She smiles and laughs and pulls it off;
you do it to her and you do it a lot.
But take off the mask, and what do you see?
Two eyes with tears upon thee.
She stands with like pride and walks with a bounce,
but you're always there ready to pounce.
But take off her costume, and what do you see?
A broken down heart inside of she.

She has gone now and isn't here,
because she has to face her greatest fear.
Look what you have done to a precious life;
you have broken her heart and you have made her cry.
She lives and acts for her own has had to die,
yet somehow she still stands with pride!
