Will you be my friend
         even when we may not agree
about certain situations

Can we please talk
                and discuss things
without anger

Because issues will come up
                          on this road of life
Issues where we will not agree
Can we agree to disagree at times

We both have very strong opinions and beliefs
some similar       some different
Can we agree to respect each others thoughts and beliefs
even though     we may not agree on them

It seems neither of us
is ever going to change
So can we try to not push
our beliefs down each others throats
Can we assure each other that even though
we may not always agree on something
we will always remain friends

Neither of us is happy about this situation
Can we please talk and stay calm
You know that we could
            if we'll just do what our hearts tell us to do
And not what others think we should do

We had a special bond of friendship
and it really hurts to think that we may
let others help cause that bond to break
I wish that I had the ability to really express to you
what I feel in my heart
This hurts so much and I know that it hurts you too

I am so sorry for any part I have had in your hurt
Please, can you and I talk
Can we still remain friends
I    MISS    YOU!!!

I sincerely thank each of you for your response to
this little letter of mine. I really do mean the
words in it. I just hope that the person it's meant
for sees it. Sometimes I don't know if a friendship
can be repaired. I hope this one can, because
I miss her very much. Each one of my friends is special
to me, and I honestly don't want to lose any of them.
Sometimes others influence is very bad on a friendship,
or a relationship of any kind.

Well, enough said for now. I really do thank you all,
though, for your very kind and sincere words.

(big hugggssssssss) God Bless You, dearest friend, if you were writing this letter to me and I was your friend, I would definitely forgive you because we are all only human and I believe we should hold true freedom of speech and respect each others opinions, as opposite as they can be sometimes! Awww this is so heartfelt. I wonder how many millions of us out here echo this? People make mistakes, but if we had them for even a little while it's better than never at all. I cried when I read this. Thanks for sharing.

Not sure of the situation, but from personal experience I have found its not good to dicuss politics or religion with friends...
best to spend the time together discussing or enjoying shared interests...thats what builds friendships...James

This was very heartfelt and sincere.This person would be crazy to say no.We all disagree sometimes but we always come back tot hose who mean sincerity to us.You my friend are one of those people

Even the best of friends disagree... and hurt without intending to do so. *S* With luck and work and a whole lot of forgiveness, the friendship survives the testing and becomes stronger... if both want that survival enough. *S* This is a beautiful plea... I hope you get the answer you're hoping for! *S*
