I'd rather be swimming than anything else
In the beautiful deep blue sea
I'll finish my ice cream before it melts
And dive in the water so free

A warm soaking blanket wrapped 'round me
The sand sinks between my toes
Dad tosses me up and I say "WEE"
And I'm wet to the tip of my noes

The current is pulling me out to the ocean
I feel like i'll never stop
I go under water and it taste like a potion
I come up and my body goes plop

I climb out of the water and coverup
And sit on my big beach chair
I reach into the ocean and grab a 7up
And fall asleep with out a care...

Sadly it's time to say bye to the beach
I really do not want to go
I'll pack up my chips and finish my peach
Now I have to go, I know

Marzy, thank you so much for taking me "back" to where I grew up...just a few short miles from beach front to front door.  And you brought back some wonderful memories of my daddy and me, as well.  This is a very special poem...and I hope to see more, soon!

(big hugggsssssss) Awwwwww...I know just how you feel the beach is my favorite place of all and I want to live right by it, in a more tropical part of it and unwind each deserving day writing, drinking coconut juice and living the Jimmy Buffett or Caribbean dreamers life! This is a beautiful debut, sweet friend, I love it! Welcome to Passions, sweet Marzy, may you be inspired by all of us here as we will all be inspired by your lovely words! I can't wait to read more of your sun-shining poetry, sweet friend, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Mary, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
Noah Eaton
