If you ever see this

hurl these words
from highest tip of tongue

I
need
to
scare
them
away...

...out of mouth and mind

Casual
was prepared
she knew the past
like back of hand

Deep
was already buried
with natural earth
promises of growth

Going nowhere
with plenty
of places
to go

I think I know, I know I think

Regretting letting go
to embrace you whole

Withered hands
of time and space
I believe
in you...

still?

What kind of fool am I?

Need I run faster
to lose you
when you don't even chase

I
need
to
scare
hope
for
us

away

.
