Good morning everyone. Hope all is well and all are safe from that nasty storm Isabel. This poem came about when I was watching a mystery on TV. It's a different style then what I usually write.Hope you like. Love Bon-Bon  Reading Pictures Castles and massive hounds Shadows and silhouettes Mists and mysteries Story of intrigue Novel in the making Green and gray blend into shimmering dew. Pillars and towers Stones and moss Bridges and rotting wood Story of intrigue Novel in the making Red flowing down into a brook of crystalline water. Darkened windows and shrouded door Tears and lament Highway and driveway Story of intrigue Novel in the making Police knocking and calling your name “Open the door in the name of the law.” Castles and massive hounds Shadows and silhouettes Mists and mysteries Story of intrigue Novel in the making Gun shot and silence. |
