Over the river and through the woods...
No, it’s not the story you think.

She ran off today to play
and never returned.
The search and rescue team
tried everything
but came up without a clue.
Now her loved ones sit
And wait.
And wait.
And wait.
So if you see her youthful face
plastered all over the place,
please, remember what she looks like.
Remember what her parents look like.
And step forward, please
if you think you’ve seen her
walking down the street
looking
all alone in this world.

Help a runaway
find the pathway home.

Thank you, Jason. The city streets are full of runaways, who are listed 'missing.'
I've met a few 'missing' children over the years, and hope they found their way back home safely.

and thank you, Vicky!

as painful a subject as it is it's good to see it addressed and brought to light...

Sad, so terribly, terribly sad. Brings to mind the disappearance of my sister's son and 5 of his friends 8 years ago...

Very sad and very true and too often when they do turn up it is not a happy situation. Thanks for raising this issue.
