Wheels Of The Mill

by:  Helen Slicker and Mark V Sheldon

Round and round and round it goes
It never stops it always flows
Someone always thinks they know
Making up how the HOT AIR blows

Churning, turning, burning to find out
WHAT’S between is all about
Gabbing, jabbing, fabricating lies
Frankensteining fantasies to life

"Isle of view" becomes "I love you"
And "Luv -- your serve" "I love you, Sir"
Spinning, threading, needles point at you
When you see things in a different view

Caught in the rhythm of did you hear
Who is holding someone so near
Fabricating tapestries, colored and fake
Picking a thread in which to take

Comments, thoughts, and innocent replies
JUST WHAT DOES IT ALL imply?
Boredom rampant, nothing left to do
What is the truth? Don't you wish you knew...

Chuckling here, even though it may not be so humorous in 3D reality.
A very, very good write.
Thanks to both of you!

Enjoyed this.
I always wonder, though, with these duets, who wrote what?
Is the goal to let that show or to hide it?
I'm not sure which I prefer, actually.

The truth, never-the-less, is up to you.

(big hugggssssssss) Oh my gosh, this is such a wise and beautifully eloquent duet, sweet friend, I believe lying is the biggest sin of all and all who have lied should confess immediately before they get condembed forever with guilt and remorse! (sad sigh) You speak of the absent truth so well, sweet friends, God Bless You Both, we all love you so much! You have such beautiful hearts, sweet Helen and Mark, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you both!

Love,
Noah Eaton
